Horus lived longer than most of the Egyptian Gods even the kings of the Egyptian pantheon

maybe because of the dramatic Mythology of his story , the death of his father and the fighting against his evil powerful uncle to claim this crown and throne of the kingdom of his father
and of course because the story of Osiris was played theatrically as a religious ceremony and of course as an entertainment in Abydos
in the Hellenistic era the new hyprid god Serabis inherited the characteristics of Osiris including his wife Isis and his son Horus who became Harpocrate
when Roman came they worshiped him even in Roma as his mother Isis Pharia (for Pharos of Alexandria ) andin many other places in the civilized world those days
