do the steps just liek in fedora 9
ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲕ̀ⲛⲁ ϣ̀ⲥϧⲁⲓ ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲕⲉⲓⲃⲟⲣⲇ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲝⲟⲣⲅ.ⲕⲟⲛϥ
but you cannot change the keyboard layout using the file xorg.conf
ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲧⲉⲣⲙⲓⲛⲁⲗ ⲥ̀ϧⲁⲓ
so write in the terminal
setxkbmap -layout "us,cop,ara"
or
̀ⲕ̀ⲛⲁ ⲁⲣⲓⲧϥ ⲛⲟⲩ ̀ϣⲉⲗⲗ ⲥⲕⲣⲓⲡⲧ
or put it in a shell script
Ⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛ̀ ⲧⲉⲝⲧ
new text file
ⲥ̀ϧⲁⲓ setxkbmap -layout "us,cop,ara" ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧϥ
write in it setxkbmap -layout "us,cop,ara"
ⲁⲣⲉϩⲕⲁⲧⲁ
copt.sh
save it as copt.sh
ⲕⲗⲓⲕ ⲛ̀ⲱⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲉ copt.sh
right click upon it
properties
permission tab
click execute [ ] allow executing file as program
now every time you want to write in coptic click copt.sh
ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲱⲡ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲕ̀ⲛⲁ ⲱϣⲕ ⲥ̀ϧⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲉⲙⲛ̀ⲕⲏⲙⲓ ⲕⲗⲓⲕ copt.sh
and it will work tell you restart your box
